OUR HISTORY

Da 3PM

3PM S.A. started its activity in 1988 in the maintenance and repair of IT platforms and electronic and automation systems. We were the first national company to introduce the concept of multibrand technical support, called Third Party Maintenance, into the market, offering our customers technical support for any equipment, regardless of the manufacturer or brand, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.  

At the moment 3PM S.A. counts with a team of 12 employees and another 5 under outsourcing, also counting on several partnerships with companies in the area of software development and programming and the development and production of customized embedded hardware. The Head Office of 3PM S.A. is in Lisbon and the company also has a Technical Laboratory in Lisbon and another in Guimarães.

EVOLUTION

During its over 30-year journey, 3PM S.A. has provided technical support to some of the largest national companies, such as REN – Redes Energéticas Nacionais, Portugal Telecom, EPAL, EDP, Metro de Lisboa, Avis, Efacec, the Union of Portuguese Banks, among others, which allowed us to acquire extensive experience not only in the maintenance of IT and industrial systems, but also in electronic repair at the component level.  

The constant search for the satisfaction of the daily needs of our Clients, as well as the constant search for solutions to all their problems at the electronic and engineering systems level, forced us to evolve and develop tools and business areas that would help us to give responding to these requests, not only through the sale of new, used or refurbished multi-brand equipment, as well as through the development of engineering projects.

3PM S.A. is currently structured according to the following business areas:

A TEAM

WITH EXPERIENCE

In the railway sector, we have developed interesting working partnerships, which have enabled us to acquire valuable experience in repairing a large part of the electronics associated not only with the light rail through Customers such as Metro de Lisboa, MTS – Metro Transportes do Sul and of the Carris trams, but also of the heavy railroad through Fertagus.

We are currently implementing the following engineering projects:

· Metro Transportes do Sul – Restructuring of the communication system and passenger info system between vehicles, stops and command center, including the development of the railway traffic management software, and the replacement of the IBIS system installed on all trains;
· CARRISBUS – Replacement of the pneumatic compressor system and replacement of the auxiliary converters of the electric series 500.
